AADE: Start of operation of KEFODE, KEFOK, KEBEIS and Tax Service Services in Attica and Thessaloniki
The new reality that needs to be emphasized is the final closure of the tax offices until the summer (the final dates have already been officially announced) and their transfer to the impersonal central administration, creating only 3 new agencies and only in 3 buildings for the whole Attica and another 3 in Thessaloniki for the whole of Northern Greece with a more likely scenario that the rest of Greece will gradually but immediately join the total of 6.

AADE PRESS RELEASE: Launch of new AADE services in Attica and Thessaloniki
By decisions of the Governor of AADE, Giorgos Pitsilis, the opening of the Tax Procedures and Service Centers (KEFODE) and the Tax Service Services of Attica and Thessaloniki and the gradual transfer to them of the responsibilities of the currently existing DOU are determined.
At the same time, the dates for the start of operation of the Capital Taxation Centers (KEFOK) of Attica and Thessaloniki, as well as the Certification and Collection Center (KEBEIS) of Thessaloniki, are being finalized.
Based on the relevant decisions, the scheduling is structured as follows:
KEFOK Attica & Thessaloniki
I. KEFOK Attica – Start of operation on 4/22/2024
II. KEFOK Thessaloniki – Start of operation on 17/06/2024
KEBEIS Thessaloniki – Start of operation on 13/5/2024
KEFODE of Attica and Thessaloniki
I. KEFODE Attica – Start of operation on 6/17/2024
II. KEFODE Thessaloniki – Start of operation on 7/15/2024
The Tax Service Services remains, temporarily, the authority to receive a declaration of immobility and its removal, in cases where it is not possible to use digital media, which is exercised within the territorial jurisdiction of the respective former DOU.
The existing Taxpayer Service Offices (TAS) of the Tax Service Services are being developed into Tax Service Offices and the possibility of setting up four additional Offices, to be housed in the Zografou, Kropia, Filothei-Psychikou and Aigaleo Municipalities, respectively, is envisaged.
